For example, my Conjurer "Spooky" build (which is slightly out of date) linked in the OP utilizes the Wildblood set. Most builds don't require a specific legendary item or set. Apparently this was a somewhat recent change (B31?). What this means is that for the toughest fights, lifesteal isn't going to help you out that much, and health regen/healing may be more useful. Spells or abilities that have an innate lifesteal component are different though, so Sigil and Devouring Swarm still give you a bunch of life back when used on bosses. I believe lifesteal works on heroes/champions (orange mobs), though. lifesteal) that apply to weapons or general attacks do not work on bosses (purple and red mobs). I do want to make note of something I find kinda important in terms of gearing:Įffects/items that give Attack Damage Converted to Life (i.e. 100% chance to pierce every shot? Hell yes. ![]() Reddit has helpfully advised me that I look like a "15 year old fortnite boi"ĭrat, that rifle (Vortex of Souls) looks awesome. Those devotion skills that have a chance to trigger on attack/skill usage, how are people giving them to their pets? Are a lot of the builds on the forums like the POE ones where they supposedly only work with super-rare end-game gear? In other words could I level a char who aims to do this eventually, and if so would it suck until I got Void of Souls to drop? Or is it playable / good without that specific weapon? So I'm thinking of getting into this game. I suppose I could part with one and still be feared. Seriously.)īlack Tallow (Amulets and medals, recipe for crafting from Kymon's Chosen or Death's Vigil), Sanctified Bone (Head, Chest, recipe from Homestead but occasionally sanctified bone can drop off mobs), Imbued Silver (weapons, shields, off-hands, crafted, has a toggle-able 20% chaos resist buff and bleed resist on the component itself).īoth the bone and the silver also increase damage dealt to Chtonics. Granted the gun is going to be obsoleted eventually, but since I've yet to see a single decent 2-handed Ranged blue drop (have 7 loving 1-handers in my bank atm that have dropped. Got 19% vampiric on my gear now (total, 11 on the rifle 8% on ring) so I am really happy with how my guy is coming along. Is there any component that boosts chaos resist? Level 63 now in Elite, and I'd like to have some stuff available for when I get to Necropolis eventually. ![]() Capped Cadence does like, 300% weapon damage, so I wouldn't trade base damage on that for anything.īolvar the Bloodbinder is a oval office. With melee, sure, since you can only ever hit 3 dudes, but ranged Cadence has a great chance of scything down a whole pack with one good shot. Mmm-looks like it, but I don't think Bleeding is a good fit for ranged, unfortunately. Think I just found the BiS for a bleed-focused Cadence Witchblade. Has anyone done a Phantasmal Blades Nightblade/Occultist? Is it viable and not super boring? The only down side, if you can call it that, is that it's a bit too easy to play, Primal Strike on LMB does about 99% of the work.Ĭerebral fucked around with this message at 06:50 on Apr 7, 2016 Maybe it's just that I like all the lightning effects, but this is just a joy to play. I thought dual pistol Pyromancer was good, but this build is even better. ![]() Seriously, it might be the most broken (in a good way) build that I've tried so far. Gammon fucked around with this message at 03:27 on Apr 7, 2016īased on the talk about rifles, specifically Void of Souls, in the last couple of pages, I created a character following this guy's build: and I'm very pleased with the results. That drops your mastery to 0 and lets you make class selections again. I just use the 'Reset all skills' option. Again, maybe that's just me being a bad though. I was having a lot of trouble with the trainer on a new guy because the game doesn't seem like it likes you messing with things until you're supposed to be able to (skills before level 2, second mastery before level 10, factions before you officially meet them, etc.). I feel like having a character that's already level 50-ish and on elite that you use the trainer to change classes for would be a lot easier than starting a new character every time, anyway. How do you change classes in the trainer? Am I just dumb or is it actually tricky to do? Thanks for posting the trainer above, I actually use some of the epics/legendaries I find now, because instead of going "welp, doesn't fit my build and I'm not grinding Yet Another Dude up to 55 (or whatever) just to give it a go" I can quickly respec a dude I'm not enjoying, or just make a brand new guy and try it out for a minute and decide if it's actually something I want to make a char to use.
